Hello world!

Thanks for finding me. I am a newly qualified doctor in the UK.

I would like to use this blog to share stories of clinical experiences I have as a junior doctor, highlighting in particular scenarios and learning points that are not covered at medical school.

Some of the blogs are based on real patients, and some are based on fictitious ones. Details such as age and sex of patients have been changed  provided this does not obviously alter the clinical story.

I have taken written consent for any real cases that involve photographs/videos of the patient or would be impossible to fully anonymise.

I have also made a website, drcrunch.co.uk, where I put up free medical education resources like SBAs, OSCE sheets, OSCE examination videos and other bits and pieces. Please do have a look and let me know what you think. And please comment; it makes my day to hear from medics and non-medics from round the world.

Best,

Dr Crunch
